Hudson, OH – Diebold Nixdorf’s Headquarters Relocation

Challenge
Diebold Nixdorf headquarters was previously located in North Canton. For 50 years, they expanded the original building to accommodate their growth, resulting in a large and inefficient facility. The location also limited recruiting possibilities.

Outcome
ICP acquired Diebold’s North Canton headquarters in 2021 while simultaneously purchasing and renovating a new high-profile flagship location in Hudson, Ohio. In addition, Diebold Nixdorf signed a long-term lease at the new premier Hudson location, significantly reducing their occupancy costs while providing a more modern location.
Ultimately, Diebold Nixdorf saved tens of millions of dollars in total occupancy costs over a 15-year term by relocating to 70,000 square feet of new space  in Hudson while selling their 260,000-square-foot building which was inefficient for their current needs post-pandemic.
