Randall Park Mall, built in 1976, was once known as the world’s largest indoor mall. As many traditional shopping malls fell into decline, Randall Park’s spiraling occupancy during the nineties, resulted in its closure in 2009. The 2,000,000-square-foot vacant building continually deteriorated and became an eyesore in the community.
In 2014, American Greetings began transitioning their headquarters to a newly built headquarters location in another suburb, vacating a 1.6 million square foot industrial and office campus. Over 2,000 people had been employed at the facility and the income tax revenue loss had a detrimental impact on the city of Brooklyn, Ohio.
Soon after ICP acquired the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company campus, Phase I construction began on the new, 642,000-square-foot Goodyear World Headquarters and was completed in 2013. The new headquarters includes a parking structure, as well the revitalization of certain other buildings on Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company’s campus.
