A Cleveland-based developer has purchased the St. Louis Outlet Mall in Hazelwood with plans for an $80 million redevelopment that will turn the site into industrial space while still hosting the long-planned PowerPlex youth sports complex.

Real estate developer Industrial Commercial Properties LLC acquired the long-vacant mall at 5555 St. Louis Mills Blvd. for an undisclosed price in a deal that was finalized Oct. 13, ICP Chief Operating Officer Chris Salata said. The mall opened in 2003 as St. Louis Mills but was closed by owner Namdar Realty Group in 2019.
