The Junior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with planning and bidding on a wide range of construction projects, from building to tenant improvements from start to finish, including planning stages to support tenant occupancy in company-owned facilities in Michigan/Indiana.

Our portfolio includes manufacturing, warehouse, office and retail properties. ICP is looking for an innovative and motivated Architectural Designer to join our team. This role involves collaborating closely with tenants and property users to conceptualize and design interior and exterior spaces, helping clients achieve functional and aesthetic solutions that support their business growth.

Architectural Designer Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute a variety of architectural assignments, utilizing industry-standard techniques for both adaptive reuse of real estate and ground-up development projects.
  • Prepare detailed 2D architectural floorplans and create 3D renderings for both interior and exterior spaces.
  • Collaborate with end-users to plan, conceptualize, and modify layouts that align with their vision for future space utilization.
  • Coordinate with clients and project managers to assist in selecting office finishes and façade materials, ensuring cohesive design choices that meet project requirements and aesthetic goals.
  • Establish design standards and processes for architectural presentations to guarantee a professional and client-focused experience.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, engineering, construction, management, and marketing, both in-person and virtually.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to gather information and perform accurate field measurements for effective project planning

Position Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in 2D and3D CAD software (e.g., Revit, Lumion, AutoCAD, Vectorworks) is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior architecture is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Experience in project management from concept to completion is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to team members and executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.  20%

CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING MANAGER. Industrial Commercial Construction, the very active construction division of Industrial Commercial Properties (icpllc.com) is seeking a Construction Accounting Manager to support our organization with strong bookkeeping/accounting abilities. This individual will handle bookkeeping, reconciliation of projects, working with outside Accounting Firm, organization, reporting, communication, and documentation, etc. The ideal candidate must have great bookkeeping/accounting knowledge along with computer, communication, and time management skills. Previous experience in the construction industry is very helpful, but not required. 

Construction Accounting Manager Responsibilities: 

Maintain all monthly accounting functions for the construction division, including but not limited to: 

  • Banking and Bank Reconciliations 
  • Monthly Financial Reports 
  • General Ledger Maintenance, Recording & Reconciliation 
  • Reporting for Ownership and Finance Department 
  • Accounts Receivable application and recording of payments 
  • Intercompany Payables and Reconciliation 
  • Quarterly Financial Reporting to Executives and Bank 
  • Payroll Entries 
  • Quarterly True up Reconciliations 
  • Project Reconciliations 
  • Accurate Cash Application Tracking
  • Prepare all reporting for Year End for outside Accounting Firm

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required – additional college such as a bachelor’s degree is very valuable
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of bookkeeping or accounting is needed – previous accounting duties in a busy construction office are ideal. 
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is desired but not required
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are needed 
  • Foundation Software Experience is desired, but not required
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
