PROJECT DESIGNER. Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP) is a leading commercial development company based in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. ICP is seeking a Project Designer who is interested in working on a fast-growing commercial real estate portfolio. Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Project Designer role involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize all aspects of the design process to ensure the overall project design is aligned with project goals, budgets and schedules.

Project Designer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality 3D renderings of building exteriors and develop detailed 2D floorplans that accurately represent both interior and exterior spatial layouts.
• Drive project delivery across all key phases, from programming through design development, while articulating and aligning the ownership’s vision with company goals and client expectations.
• Independently execute a variety of assignments, utilizing industry-standard techniques for both adaptive reuse of real estate and ground-up development projects.
• Collaborate with end-users to plan, conceptualize, and modify office and manufacturing layouts that align with their vision for future space utilization.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers to assist in selecting interior office finishes and materials, ensuring cohesive design choices that meet project requirements and aesthetic goals.
• Conduct on-site visits to gather information and perform accurate field measurements for effective project planning.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, engineering, construction, management, and marketing.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and design, integrating relevant innovations into project strategies and solutions.

Project Designer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial real estate projects.
• Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Vectorworks, Lumion,and Adobe Creative Suites.
• Proficient in visual communication and storytelling, leveraging advanced graphic design expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
