On Wednesday, May 30th, Industrial Commercial Properties LLC (“ICP”), a Cleveland-based commercial real estate development company, celebrated the groundbreaking of a new headquarters and distribution center for ComDoc in Jackson Twp., Ohio. ComDoc is a subsidiary of Global Imaging Systems, a Xerox company.
The 107,500-square-foot future headquarters and distribution center for ComDoc will be located on 12 acres on Pittsburg Avenue in Jackson Twp. in Stark County. The property will include 32,500 square feet of office and 75,000 square feet of distribution space. Upon completion in Spring of 2019, ComDoc will consolidate four Northeast Ohio facilities and approximately 285 jobs into one location. ICP has engaged M.E. Osborne Building Company as the general contractor.
Christopher Semarjian, the Owner of ICP, commented, “It is a pleasure to partner with ComDoc and Jackson Twp. Officials to craft a solution that is advantageous to their long-term business goals of growth and increased customer service. Consolidating four of their locations helps them streamline operations and enhance their distribution process, while increasing cost efficiencies. This site provides them excellent freeway exposure along I-77, which was an important element in their headquarters’ search. We are also anticipating ComDoc’s relocation will spur more interest in the remaining 46 acres we have at this location. We have found that Jackson Twp. officials are very business oriented, which makes this process much easier.”
Randy Gonzalez, Jackson Twp. Fiscal Officer/ Economic Development Director said, “We are very excited ComDoc is preparing to break ground in our township. This building will bring over 250 jobs to the site, which in turn brings many people and families to live work and play.
